sir,
Chambers,
Supreme Court, Hongkong,
6th. May, 1908.
I have the honour to acknowledge Your Excel- -lency's letter of 5th. May, on the subject of my request that Mr. Seth be suspended.
2.
I much desired a personal interview with Your Excellency with the view of giving Your Excellency informa- -tion which would have been of assistance to Your Excellency in coming to a conclusion on the matters dealt with in the letter under reply.
3.
I think, however, a personal interview may still servace a most useful object, and I therefore avail my ** -self of Your Excellency's invitation for 2.30 P.M. on Friday next.
4.
I should be glad if in the meantime a copy of the proceedings in the case of Mr. Kyshe, once Regis- -trar of the Supreme Court, could be sent to me for my perusal.
I have etc., (Sd.) F. T. Piggott,
Chief Justice,
